Buchanan Labs is partnering with Pittsburgh Tech Council’s TechVibe Radio to present a series of podcasts that provide the latest insights on hot topics in the entrepreneurial, emerging company and technology space in Pittsburgh.

Episode #2 discusses robotics, including an overview of Pittsburgh’s burgeoning robotics industry, research happening locally and the future of robotics in Pittsburgh.

The discussion includes:

  • Matthew Travers – professor at the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University
  • Jeff Christensen – Vice President of Products at Seegrid, which manufactures and sells vision-guided vehicles (VGVs) for the materials handling industry in North America and Europe
  • Dave Rollinson – robotics engineer for HEBI Robotics, a Pittsburgh-based startup focusing on robotic actuation technologies and engineering solutions
